On location
Event by Clim-EAT, Brazil Ministry of Agriculture, Netherlands Ministry of Agriculture, Nature, and Food Security, University of Brasília
The Global Climate-Smart Agriculture Conference will bring together a wide range of global and local actors to advance climate-smart agriculture through actionable, inclusive, and science-based collaboration. By aligning stakeholders just ahead of COP30, the conference offers a crucial space to turn policy dialogue into commitments that can influence high-level negotiations.
NFP will co-host one of the conference's six thematic sessions, Policies & Institutions, together with the World Bank.
Our focus:
- Repurposing agricultural subsidies in food systems to promote climate-smart innovation, social inclusion, and mitigate risks;
- Supporting multistakeholder collaboration in building enabling environments for reform;
- Highlighting ongoing initiatives and success stories;
- Exploring mechanisms for accountability, inclusion, and scaling.
The session will spotlight practical pathways to redirect public finance, promote policy coherence, and strengthen institutional capacity for long-term food systems transformation.
