FORQLAB, the Food Waste Reduction and Food Quality Living Lab, is dedicated to reducing food losses and enhancing food quality in Kenya's avocado and dairy sectors through collaboration and innovation. In this edition, we highlight significant milestones and events that showcase the progress and impact of our efforts.
This newsletter features exciting news about the first batch of FORQLAB farmer avocados being exported, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our farmers. We also cover the recent avocado farmers' knowledge exchange in Nandi and the dairy farmers' knowledge exchange in Githunguri, where farmers shared experiences and learned from one another to improve their practices.
In addition, we reflect on the final workshop and photo exhibition held in Nakuru, which celebrated the achievements of the FORQLAB project. The FORQLAB workshop in Delft is also highlighted, where consortium partners and stakeholders gathered to reflect and celebrate the achievements of the past two years.
